The Single Deck Suburbans were built by Leeds Forge, UK, Commonwealth Engineering (ComEng) at Granville, NSW and Tulloch at Rhodes, NSW.
The cars entered service between 1927 and 1955. They had target plates of M, H, B, F, Y, S & W
